Refund Policy

1. Subscription Billing
AlphaTerminal offers two paid subscription tiers:

All subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month unless canceled. Founder's Rate subscribers retain their locked rate for as long as they remain continuously subscribed.
2. No Refund for Partial Months
Subscription fees cover the full upcoming billing period. AlphaTerminal does not prorate refunds for partial months. If you cancel on the 15th of a 30-day month, you retain access for the remainder of that billing period but are not entitled to a credit or refund for the unused days.
This applies regardless of:
- How often you used the platform during the billing period
- Whether you connected exchange API keys or used any specific features
- Whether market conditions were favorable or unfavorable
3. When Refunds Are Available
AlphaTerminal issues refunds only in the following circumstances:
3.1 Accidental Duplicate Charges
If you were charged twice for the same subscription period due to a billing error on our side, you are entitled to a full refund of the duplicate charge. Contact billing@alphaterminal.trade with your account details and we will investigate and respond within 3 business days.
3.2 Service Unavailability
If AlphaTerminal experiences significant, prolonged service outages that render the platform unusable for more than 72 continuous hours, affected users may request a pro-rata credit for the affected period. Credits are applied to the next billing cycle and are not issued as cash refunds. Outages caused by third-party infrastructure (exchange APIs, cloud providers) outside our control are handled case by case.
3.3 Unauthorized Charges
If you did not authorize a charge and it was not made by anyone with access to your account, report it immediately to billing@alphaterminal.trade. We will investigate and issue a refund if the charge is confirmed as unauthorized.
4. Subscription Add-Ons
Add-on purchases (Prediction Markets, AI Trading, Arbitrage Bot, Copy Trading Pro, and Base Plan) are billed in advance like the base subscription and follow the same refund policy: non-refundable except for duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, or significant service outages as described in Section 3.
5. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your paid features until that date.
To cancel:
- Log into AlphaTerminal and navigate to your account settings
- Select "Subscription" and click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
You can also cancel by emailing billing@alphaterminal.trade with your account email and cancellation request. We process cancellations within 1 business day.
No cancellation fee. AlphaTerminal does not charge cancellation fees of any kind. Canceling is always free.
6. Refund Requests
To request a refund under Section 3, email billing@alphaterminal.trade with:
- Your AlphaTerminal account email address
- The nature of the issue (duplicate charge, outage, unauthorized charge)
- The date(s) and amount(s) in question
We review all refund requests within 3 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card issuer, please contact us first.
Chargebacks without prior contact are time-consuming to dispute and may result in immediate account suspension while the dispute is resolved. Most billing issues can be resolved directly — we would rather help you than dispute a charge.
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer, AlphaTerminal may:
- Suspend your account during the dispute investigation
- Deny access to the platform until the dispute is resolved
- Terminate your account if the chargeback is resolved in our favor
Chargebacks that are found in your favor (e.g., confirmed fraud) will be honored. Chargebacks for subscription fees that do not qualify under Section 3 may not be reversed.
8. No Cooling-Off Period
AlphaTerminal does not offer a statutory cooling-off period or money-back guarantee. Because the service is delivered immediately upon subscription (you gain full access to the platform upon payment), consumers in certain jurisdictions may have statutory rights that cannot be fully excluded. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect 30 days after they are posted at alphaterminal.trade/refund-policy. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
